Directions

Travelling by plane

Since 2020, there is only one airport in Berlin: Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER).

There is an Airport Express (FEX) that runs from the station directly under Terminal 1 to Berlin Central Station several times an hour. For more information, click here. In addition, the S-Bahn S9 also runs from Terminal 1 to Berlin’s city centre.

Please note that the airport is located outside the AB tariff zone, and you will therefore need a ticket for the ABC tariff zones to travel to the city centre.

Travelling by car

For more detailed directions, please visit Google Maps or Viz Berlin.

Please note that there are ‘low emission zones’ (Umweltzonen) in the city centre. Low emission zones are areas that only allow vehicles complying with certain emission standards. Ignoring them may result in a fine.

Parking options

Parking is not permitted directly on the street “Unter den Linden”. However, there are various paid parking facilities in the immediate vicinity, for example in Dorotheenstraße and at various parking decks (e.g. Car Park, Dorotheenstr. 30, or Q-Park Unter den Linden, Bebelplatz 2).
